
Native Designed T-Shirts
This page is dedicated to the West Coast native art of British Columbia. Below are the designs that Sa-Cinn Feature in their clothing store. Every shirt comes with a mythology card which tells the original and timeless story that the design depicts. The pictures do not reflect the full allotment of t-shirt colors available for each design. Prices, sizes and colors are noted below.
Each T- Shirt is made of 100% cotton made by Gildan. The sleeves and neckline are triple stitched to ensure durability and longevity. As well, generous cuts and preshrunk fabric allows for maximum comfort. Also every shirt is hand silk screened with a paint called plastisol (a paint that when cured after screening paint for a long lasting print.

By Na Na Quish Carrying
on a proud family tradition of design Na Na Quish creates designs from
stories told to him as a boy by his Uncle George Clutesi and other Elders. |

This shirt depicts the story of how light was brought to the world. Raven once stole a ball of light but upon accidentally breaking it created sun and moon and the stars who are called the brothers of light. |

shirt represents the supernatural power of the Sea Serpent whose strength
and power to change even the elements are depicted in song and dance by
the natives along the West Coast of Vancouver Island Here is the Sea Serpent
in natural form and his disguise as an island. |

Lion (Available in front only) The
Sea Lion design is the story of how the first sea-lion family came to
be. Most importantly it depicts that the time honored Native value of
sharing is natures law too. |

| Long
ago, it was believed that some where along the spine of the mountains
on Vancouver Island was the lair of the Thunderbird. This design depicts
the journey a young warrior's journey to find Thunder Mountain. |

| Ka
Kawi'n (Click to View Colors and Story) Commonly known throughout the world as Orca or Killer Whale, Na Na Quish entitled this design by its native name from the Native language of the West Coast of Vancouver Island. This design depicts the guardians of man by sea and sky. Their protectors are the Eagle and the Whale. |
