Art Cards & Prints Information
Art Cards — Each art card image is reproduced from an original work of art, providing a unique card alternative. The inside of each card is blank, making them perfect for any occasion. All cards come with an envelope and are packed within a clear plastic sleeve. The image size of each card is approximately 5 x 7 inches or 5 x 5 inches, with a finished card size of 6 x 9 inches. Additionally, biographical information about the artist is featured on the back of each card. All of the horizontal and vertical images from our art card collection are available as metal framed pictures and matted prints. These images are offered in an 11 x 14 inch format for matted cards; metal framed cards are available in a 10 5/8 x 13 inch format.
Canvas — Acid-free canvas with an acid-free receptive coating for long-term use and storage. All canvas limited editions are signed and numbered within the image, leaving the generous 3-inch border free, for wrapping around a variety of surfaces.
Fine Art Paper — This format uses a 310-gsm bright white paper with a lightly textured surface of exceptional quality (about the thickness of the average business card). It is water resistant and made from 100% cotton rag. It is acid-free, lignin free and of full archival quality. These are signed and numbered below the image.
Gallery Wrapped — Canvas is stretched so that the image wraps around the sides of the stretcher bar.
Limited Edition — Limited edition is an edition with a fixed number of impressions produced on the understanding that no further impressions (copies) will be produced later. Limited edition prints are usually hand signed and numbered by the artist or signed in the plate. All limited edition prints have an image size of 13 x 16.5 inches and paper size of 16 x 20 inches. Each piece has 1.5-inch side and top borders, and a 2-inch bottom border. They are available in matted as well as matted and framed combination.
Museum Wrapped — The image fills the face of the canvas, and the sides remain white.
Print and Canvas Collection — With sizes ranging from small to standard and oversized, posters are an economical décor solution. Printed on 100-lb FSC certified cover paper stock, with careful attention to colour and quality that is suitable for a wide range of framing and mounting applications.
Unstretched — Canvas is printed with a 2-inch white border to allow for a number of stretching and framing treatments.
